Synopsis: Faith, directed by Ricardo Dias, x-rays mosaic of beliefs, cults, sects and religions which extends across the entire country. Dias’documentary is the first to focus on the relationship with the Brazilian deity. Without narration, the film gives voice to various interpretations and uses of faith.

About the director: Filmmaker who stood with two feature-length documentaries made in the 1990s: In the Amazonas River (1995), winner of eight national awards, including the Best Documentary at the Festival de Brasília, and Faith (1999), a trip for religious beliefs in Brazil, was awarded the Festival of Biarritz. Paulista, born in 1950, editor of film and TV, USP degree in biology, a master's degree in film from New York University, works in film since 1977. Assembled and produced dozens of short and medium-length films and corporate videos.
